The Biometric Parameters of Microgreen Crops Grown under Various Light Conditions

Microgreens are becoming increasingly popular both as horticultural crops and vegetables consumed by humans. They classified foods of high nutritional value. Twenty-eight microgreens were grown in a growth chamber under fully controlled conditions order to determine how different light treatments affected their rate. The plants three sources emitting red/blue ratios about 6.7, 0.6, 1.6 units (Red light, Blue R + B respectively). Apart from that, the spectrum contained 10% yellow orange green light. fresh weight ranged 8 (perilla) 1052 mg (nasturtium), whereas length for same 2.0 26.2 cm. nasturtium was particularly strongly distinguished other species values its biometric parameters. mass most 20 100 mg, height 5 Red caused significant increase dry weights more than half species. had lesser influence on plants. research results showed considerable differences dynamics commonly cultivated microgreens.
